A Symbol
The Cross of Anjou, also known as the patriarchal cross or the Cross of Lorraine, was a symbol worn by Christian lords during pilgrimages and crusades to the Holy Land. This cross was also embroidered on the banner of Louis I and placed around the necks of eagles supporting King René’s coat of arms.
It was during the Second World War, under the German occupation of France, that the Cross of Lorraine became famous. Adopted as an emblem of resistance by Free France and the French Forces of the Interior, it is now a powerful symbol of liberation, fighting spirit, resilience and eternal France.
As a brand rooted in French symbolism and the warrior spirit, this emblem was a natural choice to mark our clothing and accessories.
Long live the Clan.
